Playtime {cocoa cloud sand}

This is one of my favorite things to make and play with Madeyln. The sand is such a fun consistency and it is so easy to make. For the basic recipe just use flour and baby oil. We added cocoa this time to change it up and give the "sand"a yummy smell. We will be trying this awesome idea next time.

First gather your ingredients: flour, baby oil, cocoa powder.

Add dry ingredients to container:

Mix:

Add baby oil:

And mix again:

Grab some toys and play! Sand toys work especially well since the cloud sand can hold its shape pretty well (see first picture above).

Put a lid on the container and store away for next time. Our first batch seriously lasted us almost a year! I stored this container under her bed and we would pull it out a few times a month to play with (the cloud sand was still fine but since each time we played with it a little would end up outside the container, we didn't have much left).
