Water play

I find it hard to find activities for Bentley. He has such a short attention span and he is at the age where everything that's in reach ends up in his mouth! Now that the weather is getting warm we decided to head outside, this time with a bowl full of water and some kitchen utensils. This activity is great for little ones. It doesn't matter if they put any of the things in their mouth and clean up is a breeze. I lade down a towel and let him go to town. This activity is great even if they are still unable to support themselves, you can just sit behind them while they play.

Some fun things to use:
~ plastic Easter eggs, they have holes in them so they "rain"
~ measuring cups and spoons
~ a whisk
~ a small strainer
~ a funnel
Really the possibilities are endless!

  

Now go outside and play!!!
